Frequently asked questions
Can I trade my real account with FloorDesk One?
No. FloorDesk One is practice software: you replay the past with a simulated account, no real money. Keep your usual platform for your real account.
Where do the economic news come from?
From each country's official calendars: central banks (Fed, ECB, Bank of England, Bank of Japan, SNB, Bank of Canada, RBA, RBNZ) and statistics offices. Dates run from 2010 to next year. You can add your own events.
Where does the market data come from?
The Symbols window downloads the 1-minute history of 110+ symbols for free (forex, indices, metals, energy, crypto). FloorDesk One also reads your broker platform's history and CSV files, and, as an option, tick data and futures.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). No Mac version yet.
Are the prop firm rules accurate?
The Apex, Topstep and FTMO templates follow their main rules, and everything can be edited. Prop firms change their conditions regularly: always check them on their website before a real challenge.
Does it guarantee I will win or pass my challenge?
No. FloorDesk One is analysis and practice software: it shows you honestly what your trades and your odds are worth. Simulated or past results do not guarantee future results.
Where do I enter my license key after buying?
In FloorDesk One: ? button at the top right → License..., paste the key from your email, then Activate. See with pictures.
Can I switch computers?
One license works on 1 PC at a time. To switch computers, release the license from the ? → License menu.
Do I need an internet connection?
To download history, yes. Replay, journal and analytics work offline: the license is checked once a week, and you can work up to 14 days without internet.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, anytime, in one click from your purchase email. You keep access until the end of the period already paid, with no further charge. The 7-day free trial is there to test everything before you buy.
